Camera

Postby Jamey » Mon Jul 14, 2008 6:18 pm

Hi guys, I need some help with adjusting the camera that follows behind the avatar all the time in 3rd person view.

I'm trying to get it to follow closer to the avatar all the time so the camera doesn't end up flying through the ceiling at times. (My ceiling in my age has stalagmites)

I don't want to set camera angles in my age, I just want the camera to follow closer behind the avatar all the time in my age.

anyone think they can lend me a helping hand? :)

Thanks!

make an avatar cam. Set the poa to 0, 0, 6 and the offset to something smaller that 0, 6, 12 which is somewhere around the default value.

Is there a tutorial on how I can make this "avatar cam"? Because I have never heard of it before...

Also, can you tell me the AltScript code plz? :)

ok, I got the code working, but I'm having trouble making the poa and offset setting to where I want them to be.

I want the camera to look like this on my avatar all the time in my age, at this exact angle:

It's a lot closer to the avatar than the usual default angle is.

Do you guys know what the settings for the poa and offset would be to make the camera look like this?

Thanks all!
