Can't get GlobalAnimations to work

Postby DanTheMystFan » Sat Aug 09, 2008 9:58 am

I made a sample Age to test day/night cycles, and for some reason, whenever I set my animations to global, they don't seem to work in Uru. I have an SDL file with the correct variable name as well. When I comment out the animations from the alcScript, they run fine, so there's not a problem with them. Can anyone figure out what's wrong?

Thanks,
Dan

Err, unfortunately, I don't know why they don't work, because I haven't gotten them to work myself. :P (I implemented the current version of globalanims and wrote about them in the wiki reference)

As far as I can tell, my globalanims look just like the cyan ones, so I don't know what's wrong. It's possible there might be some python required to update the SDL, but honestly, I haven't looked at globalanims in a long time. If anyone cares to investigate Gira, (there's lots of globalanims there) and see what's missing, be my guest. However, this is not a "verifiably working" feature yet.
