I can't seem to find it now, but I thought there was a way in Blender to take a bezier curve and turn it into a 3d structure (like a pipe, a support, railing. How do you do that?

Yes, there is, but I find it easier to extrude and rotate circles/cylinders around.

I don't know the way you describe, but it's definitely possible.

Here is a simple video, just use the name of the circle as the BevOb seen in the video
http://www.blendernewbies.com/tutorials ... lender.swf

When your finished, with the new mesh selected, hold down ALT and press 'C', this will convert the newly created object into a mesh
Add a decimate modifier to it to reduce the poly count

I also created a couple of wiki pages that utilize the same stuff mentioned in that video
Modeling a Ladder of interest
Making Rides

The method I just described far easier especially when you have complex wires and pipes to model.

Ah, thanks. The video didn't work, but I got it from the wiki articles. Works nicely :D
