Stone/Tile Footsteps that echo

Hi all,

I'm making an age and I need to know how to put a footstep region in my age that has stone footsteps that echo (like you hear when running in the cavern).

Does anyone know how to do this, or is it not possible yet?

Thanks!

If I remember right that's the EAX that makes that possible. And also depends on your sound card / drivers and if they support it. I remember the first time I tried it out, I was like  That was on MOUL.

I think I've seen something in the plugin about EAX that was commented out.

I think the answer you'll most likely get is: Wait until version 2.x is out. (no, I don't know either since the Devs have become very secretive about it, and seemed to have dropped 1.5.1 all together. I and others have noticed no activity in the svn).

Yeah, I think the EAX definitely has something to do with it, but I also remember that not every place with the stone footstep sound in MOUL had the echo effect (I had it on in MOUL too), so that made me think that there must be some kind of trigger or script in the programming.

Here's to hoping that Version 2.x of PyPRP comes soon! I'm definitely looking forward to it now. :)

I don't think anyone is working secretly on it.

I'm currently hard at work on "something" Plasma related. Most of the devs I think have been busy with school etc. (I know I have been).

Sadly, the coolness of my project won't make PyPRP code itself. :P

Latest PyPRP2 ideas warm out of my head:
PyPRP2 may not be just like a souped up version of 1. This would help it to be released sooner.
My plan for it is to have various easy to use (mostly GUI-based) editors in and out of Blender. Paradox has been talking about this concept for the whole time I've known him so I can't take the credit for this idea. ;)
