I know I could look this up but I can probably get a better, faster answer here. Recently, when I activate an object I no longer see the X,Y and Z arrows to manually adjust it with. Does anyone know what I can do to make them visible again? Thanks

Did you press the little hand icon next to the translator modes? (at the bottom of your blender screen, above the button's panel, next to the local/global orientation, there is a series of buttons. a hand icon, a triangle, a circle and a square. These are the rotator modes. if you press the hand icon by accident it will turn them off, and they will the triangle circle and square will be invisible.
