Unusual request of the day: does anyone know the eye height of a seated female avatar in blender units? My age requires a TV screen, and I was wondering how high to put it.

As funny as it sounds, this is a good question, and i'll probably need to know as well at some point

Does it matter when you sit? Sitting mods always seem to disable the 1st person avatar camera. A custom camera pointed at the TV in closeup is probably the preferred method.

yeah, I did think about using that- but I'd like to have it look right in 3rd person view as well. Not with the screen filling up the whole display, just with the avvie looking at the screen. Thanks for your suggestion, though, I'll keep it in mind.

Have a look at SittingMeasurement.jpeg on the wiki. The grid doesn't extend all the way to the head as I was more concerned with getting the bench height right, but it should be easy to extrapolate.

Christian and Bob just answered, but for future reference: the answer to this question as well as many other avatar animations-related questions can be found on this wiki page. "[the plane where the avatar sits] is at exactly 2 unis above the ground"; and we know the avatars height so we just have to substract 2; but because of the way the avatar legs bend it's a little less than that in the end..

Thanks guys! I might add the seated avatar head height to the .blend file on the Avatar_Animations_List page, it seems to be the only thing missing.
