Yeah, the new ladder implementation might be WRONG since it came from the COBBS Wiki where nothing (well practically nothing) is correct. Like I say, the rewriting of pyprp may fix these problems.

well i would agree, but the game was crashing before there were ladders in there...very annoying when i forgot to put in friction. you'd slide right into the hole and *pop*

Maybe you have some rogue objects left from a re-import. If you rename objects afterward, you tend to end up with these objects still appearing in the game if you don't remove them from the [Your age name]/mainRoom folder.
One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.
