GoW and Myst Themes for Blender

Postby Jennifer_P » Sun Dec 27, 2009 11:47 pm

While browsing through "Blender for Dummies," I came upon a tip on how to change Blender's font. Things downspiraled from there, and I ended up making these cool looking (but not too functional) Blender looks:

Wow that D'ni one looks awesome I'd have no clue what most of the settings were but it'd look awesome!

Thanks! :) As for the settings, well... D'ni alphabet anybody? http://linguists.riedl.org/old/more-phonetics.htm I figure if nothing else, this would be a great way to practice one's D'ni. :P

(And there's now a tutorial in the appropriate section, if you want to try either of these forms.)

You could always get rid of the letters on your own keyboard and paint the D'ni ones on. (If anyone tries that, I recommend taking apart the keyboard so you can paint each key individually. And to avoid paint in the inner workings.)

And you should take care to apply an appropriate varnish to the keys after painting

Or, you could get one of those keyboards with the little screens on all the keys that change the characters based on what font or function you're using? :D

But what about keyboard shortcuts?

No worries--they work the same as usual. :) It's just a D'ni font, unfortunately, not the language itself.
