Sine Waves Pub

Hi all, I'm working on a guild-style pub for my IC-storyline and some friends of mine, The Sine Waves Pub.

But... I can't seem to get it to export, at all, sadly :<

I've imported the Greeters pub converted with drizzle, with GPNMilano's pyprp importer. Altered the textures, etc, did the usual stuff. (note, not everything is "done" as yet, but, i can't even get an export out to just take a look at things, at this point. =/)..

I've also imported the k'veer lamps from pots, as well. =P

Would really appreciate it if someone could take a look and see what's wrong... =/

I've also made some (small) bug fixes to some geometry issues that Cyan had left in the pubs... So, you're free to use the meshes as you wish, if you want =P

Hopefully, someone will know what the issue is? :<

*sigh*
1. The importer was not made to import ages so that they can be reexported. You need to convert the imported version by applying the materials to the meshes.

2. I'm asking that your post be edited. You just posted a imported prp file complete with all modeling AND textures. This property does not belong to you to distribute and you're breaking copyright law by doing so.

(Edit: Added that the file contains imported Cyan Textures)

nor did the copyright for much of the kaelis pub office.

The post will not be edited. =)

We are /all/ breaking copyright law, and as copyright law is civil, it is not illegal, but rather extralegal.

If we want to edit everything that breaks copyright law, there are many, many more ages. =P

This is between me, and Cyan, not you, not anyone else.

EDIT: link is now redacted. I wonder, however, how my content was any different than yours, Chloe. Yours is distributed via prp, but, still.

Because one of us had permission to use Cyan's IP and one of us did not? Not to mention even if I didn't have said permission the fact that it's in an encrypted PRP, that you need external programs to break the encryption and get the image files, while you just posted a Cyan age with complete textures and models in a link that required no external program to access their IP. Understand now?

According to some Cyan posts, it would seem that everyone has permission to use (at least some of) their IP for the purpose of making fan ages.

I argue no difference. PRP files are not "encrypted" in the technical sense, they simply use a format that is not widely understood. (But for which there exist easily accessible programs to open them anyway) Also, can you open a blend file (or even an image file) without using an "external program"? That must be impressive.

What about the offlineki stuff you did? Surely you didn't get permission for those?

In any case, there's no difference between a prp and a blend. And for one thing, to get at the blend I linked, you need an external program (7zip, or a program that supports 7zip archives), and then to open the blend with the textures packed, you need blender. =)

I specifically packed the textures, so someone could help with finding why it was not exporting. Otherwise, the response could be "did you get the textures in the right place" for example.
