Problems with Simple's and Terrain 3DS max

Postby Karkadann » Tue Oct 12, 2010 2:10 pm

Im working on a checker board and figured out how to place one checker on top of another, but when I push the two Checkers around their is this one spot where the bottom checker slips threw the floor and leaves the top checker on the board. Not sure whether I should leave it like it is (a loose your king spot) or try and fix it

Any of you guys got any idea's as to why this is happening.

most everything is at default, I have a box 300x300x1 as my terrain the checkers are about 1'11" in diameter 10 inches high and I have them in the components manager as Box.

Have you tried setting the physics objects to Exact?

I placed the Floor to exact and it worked, although Im curios as to why......

now I gotta figure out a way to lock the checkers together when their on top on another. Debating whether I should try the settings under simple or a shape that stacks better with out sliding off

any way thanks
