baking texture animations?

I am wondering if i can bake a texture animation simulating water onto a plane and whether it will export into uru correctly. Are there any special steps/scripts i will need? I can model just about anything and am getting fairly good at texturing, but know nothing about scripting. I've looked everywhere else for ppl that can help me and finally have consigned myself to the fact that if i am going to get any further, i am going to have to turn to the forums. Any help is much appreciated.
