Shorah Annabelle and gabriml,

I'm so relieved to know that my memory is still working! :D

I took a few fraps videos of the two "holes" I found; gabriml, I think the first hole is the one you described above. Annabelle, the second hole seems to lead to the "football fields" that I remember. I didn't recognize it this time around since it's mostly invisible now (thanks for telling me about that--it's very reassuring!). BTW, way back when I'd found this area the first time, I'd thought it was a part of Somewhere that we were intended to find and explore, so I kinda miss it now... :?

Here are some pictures to show you what I meant. It will be more easy for everyone to understand. EDIT: I didn't look at your videos yet (sunday night because of bandwith issue :( , I'm hardly able to upload pictures, that's all...)

I went on URU:CC offline and I selected the first released version of Somewhere with UAM/Drizzle tool instead of the latest. I nearly got sick though, my screen was wobbling. I'm really glad Denost improved Somewhere... I won't restart the debate

I put infos inside my pictures (If you can't read infos because of too small characters see my text attached to pictures)

Shorah again Annabelle and gabriml,

Thanks for the wonderful photos Annabelle, I think I've found what you are talking about in the old version of Somewhere. gabriml, I couldn't find the place on the tower where you describe jumping off; but I did accidentally find a couple places at Wolf Pool where there are holes but couldn't duplicate them afterward. In the first case, as I was falling off the broken bridge, I think I bounced past the blockers onto the hillside where I could walk around a bit before falling through. In the second case, I landed in Wolf Pool from the broken bridge and found a place underneath the bridge where I could jump past the blockers. The first case was probably a fluke, very hard to do again. The second will just take time and patience to do again. I gave up trying to re-find that second hole after about 1/2 hour of searching.

I'm linking a handful of new videos I took of the underworld. Sadly, they came out really dark though the originals probably look better (I'm guessing that the conversion/compression software I used probably reduces the number of colors, so dark original colors become even darker). Anyway, the colors will look much nicer when you visit the Age itself.

For exploring the underworld, my preference is to use the original Somewhere as the vistas are much more beautiful:

Here are some comparisons of the old underworld to the new (the first version of Somewhere to the latest):

http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20new%20part%202.mp4

Once you land on the "football field", you can climb the nearby huge boulder (the exterior of the cavern lake) and then run around on top of the rock passageways (that lead to the cavern lake and other places in the "upper world"):

http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20old%20part%204.mp4

You can also access the underworld through an opening in the upper world reservoir (as mentioned by Annabelle in her earlier post). I think finding this exit into the reservoir from the other side (back when I first explored the original Somewhere and fell into the underworld) was why I'd thought the underworld was intended for us to discover and explore:
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20old%20lake%20entrance%201.mp4
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20old%20lake%20entrance%202.mp4

Once you exit this tunnel into the underworld, there is an extensive swimming hole you can explore. Just turn right and follow the tunnel exterior, then jump in:

Personally, I think exploring Somewhere's underworld is just as much fun as exploring its upper world. :) I'm very happy to have found it again (thanks to Annabelle)!! :D :D

Climb the tower. At the top of the last ladder walk forward to the railing. Turn around and face the ladder.

Shorah again,

Thanks for the tip gabriml. Once I used the right spot, the jump was very easy!

And now here's some more fun and games with holes in Somewhere. :P

In the upper world, you can climb all over the mountains, view some magnificent vistas and visit some interesting landmarks. Almost all of the "inaccessible" scenery is solid (except for the holes we keep finding, of course). So here are some new fraps videos of my more recent adventures exploring off the beaten path in Somewhere (I visited the original version--I wanted the best views from the mountaintops!). As before, the colors came out pretty dark, ( :( ), so to enjoy the beauty in full, you'll need to visit the Age yourself. ;)

There is a swimming "hole" that's easy to use:
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20swimming%20hole.mp4

From there, you can climb all over the place. Here's a view of a nearby tower:
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20tower%20vista.mp4

Here's one of the magnificent vistas:
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20canyon%20vista.mp4

You can find a small valley amongst the hills and look down into a familiar hole:
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20mountain%20hole.mp4

There is a disused shuttle landing pad up top:
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20shuttle%20pad.mp4

Nearby there is some wreckage from a shuttle:
http://www.allthingsuru.com/AllThingsUru/video/Somewhere%20shuttle%20wreck.mp4

There are numerous places where you can jump back across the blockers very easily and rejoin the game.

(I'm sure Annabelle has already found all this plus lots more!! :) )

Yes Ainia ;) I knew this swimming hole. I saw all the things you showed on your videos as well :)

For you Ainia and for everyone as well :D

Here's the hole I'm using usually, I doubt there's an easier one  :
