Starting over

Image How do I fix this? I have 2.49 64bit. I used a zip and copy pasted it directly from the zip to the x86programs folder. Shouldn't everything blender needs be in that zip? It's acting as if I don't have 15 copies of python installed on this machine. UGH! This minutia is what makes age creation such a pain. Does anyone remember the fix for this problem?

I ask because I think it is interfering with my exporting ages as well. I can get PyPRP installed fine, but when I go to export an age it gives me an error about not finding installed python. Doesn't blender only run if Python is installed? Lil Help please.

Unless it's been changed since I downloaded the 64 bit version of Blender 2.49, they never finished that version. Python files won't run in it. You need the 32 bit version of 2.49. You could probably use some Tylenol too :? .

oh well maybe that is it.\

Just tried it and it fixed everything I was having a problem with. Thanks a lot man. Now if we can just fix this this 3d view gfx glitch. When I rotate its as if everything in the scene is popping in and out of perspective, but that isn't what it is doing. That's just what it looks like. I've noticed now that where my mouse is, is not where blender sees it either. Its going to lead me to quit age development soon. I've even installed linux to try and fix it. Having a whole separate issue there.

The glitch isn't actually a glitch, if I understood your description, every thing that is further away disappears and all that is closer appears when you rotate? That then would be the viewing distance of the camera that you need to adjust.
Either in the scene button or render options or in older Blender version maybe even in the user settings somewhere, look for "Camera Distance" or "Viewport Visibility" or along those lines. It should have a near limit and a far limit.
It is always set pretty low, but for Age creation you will have to adjust its far limit upward to actually see the whole structure..

Hope that helped
