PyPRP2 + Blender 2.61 = possible?

Hi all! I've been muddling along modelling my first age and I would like to experience it from an avatar point of view, as well as adding some fo the necessary Plasma stuff... like floors for avvie to stand on hah.

I'm using Blender 2.61, and I have already downloaded the PyPRP zip and unzipped it, and i /think/ i have put it in the right place... however, I'm not entirely sure if it's in the right place because I have a slightly different file path than what has been suggested for other installations. I'm in Windows 7 (64-bit) and I'm /fairly certain/ i have the 32-bit install of Blender. Anyway, the PyPRP selection does not appear in the Addons tab in User Preferences.

I have the PyPRP folder and the bin folder in the following location: C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.61\scripts\addons. In other threads it was said that the two folders needed to go into a scripts folder in users\myname\appdata\roaming\ etcetc, but i don't have one there... the only scripts folder i can find is the one found via the Program Files route.

Also, I don't know how to determine which Blender I have, whether its 64 bit or 32 bit... i can't really remember from when i downloaded and installed. Maybe that's all it is, that i have the wrong version, but i don't know how to find out if i DO have the wrong version.

Thanks for any and all help folks!!

Edit: AND i don't even know if these two things are compatible. If anyone knows THAT answer, that would help too :)

If you downloaded the official version with an automatic installer then automaticly the 32bit version will install itself in the x86 program folder.
The 64 bit version will install automaticly in the " program files" folder.

If you downloaded a nightly build from http://www.graphicall.org/ then most versions don't have installers but are zipped instead .
In that case it depends on where you unpacked it.

Why not the secure way , download a new one and make a fresh install ? Thats a matter of 2 minutes.

Oh yes, i assume you know that ----users\myname\appdata\roaming\ ----- is a hidden folder.

PyPRP2 is not compatible with the 64 bit version, but is compatible with all the latest 32bit builds

Thanks dendwaler. I do indeed have a 32bit version of Blender so that's good. And i was informed that the files in the "bin" folder needed to be placed out in the same folder as blender.exe PyPRP2 is working now!! Just finished (attempting) to export my first age.

Unfortunately, i seem to have an unsupported lamp type in my export :P. So now i have to figure THAT out :P

Well I am sure this won't be the last issue to figure out but 1 of zillions instead.
...., but it might be the easyest one to figure out.

Yes, i sorted it out. I had used Area lamps... which are not supported hah. Just had switch them to Points with Constant falloff - gives pretty well the same effect IMO.

FYI, Hemi lamps won't export either :)
