Back home after many weeks outside I switched on my computer
Youtube
And I discovered by chance a real movie made by an explorer of ELSEWHERE

The explorer indicates the final movie will be composed of 9 chapters
The chapters 1 and 2 are completed

You imagine the pleasure for me to see my Age used for this movie

And I must say the talent of the Author-Exlorer is so great you will be impatient to see the other chapters

I invite you to see this movie
And in addition you will discover you know the Author

My congratulations for her, and PLEASE release the chapter 3...

So:
Type Google/Uru Elsewhere Youtube
Search

You will find it

Your reactions and comments will be welcome to thank such a beautiful work

Note:
For the moment I will not make any comment on the exploration by itself

I do hope for you she can finish her work...

I'm really impatient to see the final result as well... ;)

She said: "I finished the whole thing in one single day..."

Yeah right!!! She left us clueless on a passerelle in middle of nowhere with a non-functional button!

And she didn't publish anything since 1 month and a half.

 (BTW... I wrote the text in pink...)

I have not forgotten that series of videos. They are all done since March 15th, they are just unedited apart from the first 2 episodes. My plan was to release them in the same week but then I just thought it was way too fast so I stopped publishing them. I'll try to complete them and publish them as fast as I can but I'm in busy months at work so I wouldn't expect the completion before June.

I'm glad you love them so far (first 2 episodes) Denost :D

Elsewhere is so vast and complex that I thought a video walkthrough would be the best fit. I'm not sure because it has been a long time since I worked on this project but I think the whole duration is over 5 hours. I'll explain briefly the project...

Episodes 1-2-3 : Area 1
Episode 4 : Area 2
Episodes 5-6**-7 : Area 3
Episode 8 : Area 4
Episode 9 : Final Area & 3 awesome bonuses

**: the Episode 6 is very short because it's a part I can't solve so I'm just explaining what should "theoretically" be done and I'm going forward to the Episode 7. Although, I'm "skipping" a puzzle (or two), you'll see how I'm falling back down on my paws.

So...
Stay tuned for the next installment 8-)

I should have realized who did the videos! :D

Anyway, I'll have to see them. I actually have not seen these ages at all, but I'd like to reinstall URU so that I actually have that opportunity.

Hello Denost,

I surely have missed some puzzles down the way during my journey. Since I'm not making a walkthrough, but rather telling a story of my adventures in Elsewhere, I'll leave the story as is. You need also to realize that I've shot it 2 days after its release so it would have been a huge task for me to understand all the intricacies of every puzzles in this age if I had pretended making a walkthrough out of this series of videos.

I've already shot an entire new chapter (Chapter 6) by finding out the missing pieces in the Faraway Islands area. And still... When you'll watch that specific chapter, it won't even be integrated inside the main storyline but as a digression. My journey is not perfect in terms of puzzle solving (I'm mostly referring to the logical / mathematical ones, too strenuous for my tastes). I decided to shoot the adventure nevertheless because of the numerous talks among explorers finding that the age was too huge, too difficult, too complex, not playable, not loadable, etc.

I'm sure people are enjoying the adventure so far & will enjoy what is still in reserve for them.

Storywise, the puzzle(s) I didn't solve correctly or even skipped in the Crescent Island surrounding area can be easily explained; I was not at ease in the Temple at all. I'm still quite frankly not at ease there at all. The terrible noise the green dots are making are driving me crazy. I find the location creepy & it involves a logical puzzle which is far from being my cup of tea.

For example, the puzzle of the Sliding Doors Island took me what... 20 minutes to figure it out. That's a puzzle fit for me! It's all based on observation skills and learning the behaviours of a given entity. Maybe some explorers will have hard time understanding that puzzle but will just go in the temple, look at the clues on the docks, go in the tunnel with the 8 barriers and say: "Oh! That's an easy one!".

I'd rather keep my journey as it is since it's depicting my reality, my understanding, my path to reach the ultimate goal of the age. You'll see that up until the very last puzzle, I'm doing it mostly all "wrong" according to the intended gameplay but all "right" according to my way of thinking, my way of playing.

If, on the other hand, someone is willing to solve & share the solution of this puzzle, I'll be pleased to know the solution but it won't change the current journey I'm sharing with all of you in anyway. It'll only affect my future gameplays. I would also be open to shoot additional video(s) once every missing pieces will be known, video(s) in the same vein as the Chapter 6 one. It would then consolidate the whole series. :)

It's me again

I have something to share with you that might be really useful.

Show Spoiler

Every materials that I'm sharing (here or on videos as stills) will be included in a nice PDF bundle at the very end. I might even incorporate some additional stuff not shown... :)
