I was using "Full Age Release" before. I'll try the "General" next time.

Right now though, I'm contemplating having to UV map my mountains......NOT a nice prospect....5 thousand how many faces???

select it in object mode, press F-KEY - you're now in uvmapping mode

now press U-KEY, and whoa, you get all sorts of nice automatic mapping possiblities

Thanks Trylon, I'm still learning (as should be obvious), I'll try messing around with them. I already was beating my head earlier as some textures were not showing up at all! Then I remembered that little thing about "Normals" that I'd read in the tutorials.....

GAK! I almost can't stop laughing, gasping for breath here.......Okay, y'all got me, and got me GOOD. I don't know WHO it was that put this in the script, but I exported my new Age I'm working on, so I can link in and look at the size of some stuff. Well, I clicked on Generate Release, and when it got down to "Compressing Texture" it said "(If you have a good book, then I suggest you start reading it...)"

I snarfed my coffee I was sipping through my nose and sprayed my flat screen with it!!!! Then I couldn't stop laughing.

Who ever put that in the script, I owe you big time!!!!

Haha I like that kind of messages too, especially error messages, or messages that are otherwise boring.
Way back during one of Uru's betas. There was a rare situation where a windows would pop up which said: "<such function> went wrong. Anything could have happened. All bets are off!"
I remember when I saw it, I had no coffee to spill, but was I laughing hard..
