Sometimes, blender will put scripts and things in the "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Blender Foundation" directory, depending on what option you select on install. Windoze (e)XP(erience Death) is too ignorant to realize that in real operating systems, like Linux, the period prefix indicates a folder that is often hidden by the window manager.

Trust the idiots at Microfart to royally screw over something that is recognized in tons of OSes.
