I see that pebble texture you have looks kind of boring. Try turning it into a micro-tex so that you can have veins of color in the pebbles.

Or better, have a bit of contrasting lighting. That area looks very much "fullbright" and could be infinitely improved by some directional or localized lighting, and possibly some shadows under the rock.

But let's not judge my ground just yet, as I'm not finished with it, or the Age itself. I don't even have the sky in place yet. That gravel is just the base texture I put in. But thanks for the input.
