I'm sorta neutral on it, it has the makings of a great story, similar to a movie I once saw about a man from a far off land entering Rome and sentenced to die in the Colosseum, I don't know the name of the move anymore, but I do remember it

It is also similar to the Jules Verne story, "Journey to the center of the Earth"

Maximus? Turned into a slave and fights in the Colosseum, working his way up?

Even so, this combination, if executed perfectly like I think it will, it should be incredible in any sense

"Book of Ti'ana's on the Reekoo" Show Spoiler

A reekoo is a furry animal from Veovis's age that was accepted into the Guild of Writers. Ti'ana wasn't allowed to attend Veovis's Korofa'vijah, so he later gave her one as gift. Ti'ana later uses the phrase "There's more than one way to skin a reekoo."
