URGENT: Uru failure

Anything that isn't directly related to Age Creation but that might be interesting to Age developers.

you still can delete it and reinstall, I got a Steam copy too and managed to mess up my installation some time back while trying to add a journal  you can just uninstall it the normal way and install it again.

Oh ! Thank you a lot, Sirius. I do not know The HexIsle game so I did not know that it was an Age named "the Ice Cream Age"... :D

If you are making a bugreport (not you specifically, pokemon, but everyone in general), please *always* include the following information, even if you think that is is useless, crap, and we developers should figure that out for ourselves (we can't!):
- What exactly you did, from scratch - beginning with double-clicking the Uru link, or even earlier (installed patches and addons and hacks, self-made ages, etc.)
- What happened (screenshots are a good idea here!)
- What you think should have happened
If you have some guesses what the issue might be, please include then, *but* clearly mark them as guesses!

Tangara, you are not alone, I do not really understand what he means either ;-) . So, when you start Uru, and you should arrive in Relto, you arrive in the "ice cream age" instead? Or does it only start later? Judging from the screenshot, there are actually *both* ages on your screen - the one you want to be in, which I do not know, and Dessert Desert. That's totally different than actually arriving in the converted Hex Isle age, it means Uru did not properly unload an age when you left it.
The only guess I can do, based on the only actual information I could find (the screenshot) is some kind of sequence prefix mismatch, resulting in Uru unloading only parts of an age. And since I do not recognize that structure your avatar is in, I assume it is some age you made yourself? If that is indeed the case, please try to remove its files (everything in the dat folder that starts with your age's name), and try again. Also, please give us the information I listed at the top, it is necessary!
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

i'm not entirely surprised. my uru has been mesed up. maybe it's because i did'nt use the newest version of drizzle installed. It didn't convert well at first because it thought there was no space bu the second time there was. Now luna, is there a setup app or do i have to download it again?

You have to download it again, which is why it can be useful to make a back-up. Although I am not sure how that works with Steam though.

Open Program Files where your Steam is, open SteamApps/Common and you will find Uru folder. Right click on this folder and rename it "~uru" for example. Then, open Steam.exe. On the left, right click on your Uru game and go to Properties/Local Files and "Checking the integrity of game cache" (this is a translation, you will find it line 3). When Steam will check the files, he will not find Uru then he will load them again. If all is good, you can delete the "~uru folder". It works, I have done it.
If my english is not enough clear, you can go on Steam's forum and find their explanations because it is there I found them but I had spent a long time to and do not want to do it again.
