Man, I was really impressed with the turnout.
All the public areas seemed to be bursting. I was running around a couple of hours before the shutdown and everywhere I went seemed to be full of people. He are some of my observations.
The Beginners Bevin had to open up a second version to handle the crowds. When I started, they were both around 40 ppl but I heard rumor that the beginners bevin reached 110.
Keveer had around 50 or so. I linked in just in time to see the Bahro leaving.
Phil's Relto had about 20 when I was there. I heard a Bahro stopped here too.
The city, where I spent my last hour. was a the max 100 for most of the evening, with occasional drops into the 90s. Closer to the end, everyone began to congregate at the top of the great stairs. I had to overt my eyes from the crowd lest it cause my client to crash prematurely. One of the explorers kept quoting from the watcher prophecies. It had a very Revelations feel to it. At the end everyone started shouting how this wasn't the end and the ending had not yet been written. In the final seconds, the chat started to move so fat with goodbyes, I couldn't keep up.
While it was sad to be loosing so much,
It was also a great encouragement. To see so many people who called the cavern home.
This is why I'm here now writing ages. As a way to try and keep the community together.

THAT'S why everyone in the UO Hood was shouting "CAKE IS A LIE!"
Vortmax, VidKid, Thend, all of them were there shouting that when the 15 minute warning came through. I thought they'd REALLY gone crazy!
Yeah, Everyone was yelling the same thing in the city.v
