New hard drive is screaming!

Man! I had installed a 320 GB SATA hard drive into my wifes computer a couple of months ago. Now our computers are exactly identical except I had a 160 GB EIDE hard drive. Well her computer was like grease lighting and mine seemed like a snail.

So I went out today and found a 500 GB SATA hard drive. I just got done installing and disk cloning it. The speed test I wanted to see was when I export Zephyr Cove. Before with my old hard dive it was taking up to 13 minutes to export! And that was with the drive defragged, and optomized, and with 40 GB still free.

Well, with this new SATA drive......it exported Zephyr Cove in under 60 seconds........
