Has anyone been able to figure out the song that I'm assuming will make the stepping stones solid enough to get to the light? I've been able to do everything else (with the exception of finding the secret door in the assayer's room that has another diary)

Yes, I found out how to get to the light. Btw, the age's name is Sonavio.

TY boblishman....I already have the steps open..but I need to continue without falling through the stones....I assumed (hmmm) the figuring out of the song on the obelisk with the different parts of the song would make the path 'easier'?

make sure you read the walls of the cave tunnels

(Make sure the hut's door is closed ... then look through the round window ... )
