I have returned!
Posted: Sun Feb 28, 2010 8:59 pmI have come back from the mental battle that is college life. I'll be getting my first 2 degrees in April!
I randomly bumped into a post about the MO"UL servers being back up. I sniffed around some sites to make sure it was true. I was getting ready to hop int the cavern for the first time when I realized my lap top could no longer hold URU anymore. Well no problem, I got a sweet grant check today. The parts will be in the mail Tuesday for sure. On my journey to preparing for my first trip ot the cavern, I stopped here. I asked some questions to a fellow guild member and browsed some of the topics I wanted to catch up on.
Since I've had a hell of a time with blender on this single-core-AMD-bought-from-a-discount-store-on-a-toursit-laden-highway laptop, I had vowed to give up on creating my dream Age. Then it hit me.....I'm getting a very powerful computer in less than a month! Now I can attempt Blender or 3Ds Max...(btw which would be better for me to learn now?)
Excited with the prospect of maybe being able to revive my Age, I pitched my idea to a fellow guild member in hopes that it would sound good enough for me to spend the time learning how to write Ages. Well he told me good news, so I've decided to come back and give this another shot.
I'm glad to be back! Now it's time for a ton of questions to be asked!
