You can't. =P

You can get lucky, maybe, and find a trial version, or maybe get a pirate version... but there are no legal ways of getting it now (and no, getting it from a friend is not a legal method - the license is non-transferable, therefore, they still have the legal license, and whoever they give it to, does not)

Autodesk no longer sells 3dsmax 7, and even if it did, it would be a /lot/ of money.

So.. sorry, you're out of luck.

EDIT: And this is why I've been pushing for a workable blender version for the current version of blender, and for CWE. =P

The only way for you to get is is google. We can't say more because you can't get it the legal way.

A wonderful grey area in the law(s): abandonware. A software is no longer available, is never going to be available again, yet if you try to obtain it the company can sue you for getting something they no longer plan to sell or provide in any way...
Isn't that wonderful? I think it is; in a very cinic way. :/

[edit] Actually, this isn't so much a grey area in the law; as long as some company still holds the copyright of the software (here: Autodeks) it's a very clear situation. It's more of a grey area in, say, morality. "The company is not going to publish this software again, and they are not really losing anything if I get it illegally (aside control). So can I do it or not?"..

If you're up for compiling the plugin, it works fine with newer versions of 3DS Max.

We just aren't legally allowed to distribute binary versions of the updated plugin, so you'd have to build it yourself :(

I tried out the Plugins for Max 2011. They work very fine for simple things. But more complex things like an Age cannot be made with it. They can't export animations and I think Runtime Lights are also buggy(correct me if I am wrong). In the moment it also happend to me, that the PageInfo-component doesnt show any Page of the agefiles. But if you only want to make an addition for an Age they work.

Okay thank you all. I know that GoW don't want to have to do with illegal things (just call them 'grey area' :D ) but would anyone talk with me about that by e-mail (if someone trusts me)? My Adress is: [first letter of the alphabet][double U]20page[at]gmx.net

We don't know about issues with the 3ds Max Plugin if they're not reported......... (open ended)

Also, we won't be discussing piracy.
