If you guys want some serious inspiration, check out screen shots of the new xbox game Rage. I know this is a bit unorthodox to post stuff about a game in here, but I'm not promoting the game. I've never seen texturing or a game environment done so breath takingly well. This is by far the highest graphical game I have ever seen. The cave parts are stunning. I'm playing the game on my pc now, and I keep saying in my head, "Man, this is such and awesome scenery. How did they do that?"
