I knew you would like it, Wam, or I even dared to believe that you'd very much love this one ...

Those crappy small jpg pictures really do not do justice to this high quality the developers of this masterpiece of art are providing us with ... Everything looks almost so real, esp. the plants, the fires and all of nature and all is so naturally animated and alive, and the water ripples and the rocks and everything is naturally glistening in the sun etc. etc. ... just wow ...

Uru (and Myst/Riven etc.) has its history, its story, its ancient magic and beauty and all of the energy we all put into it, but as of quality, what is being delivered nowadays, it is staggeringly breathtaking and just sheer awesomeness ... one really cannot compare this anymore ...

There are some more commands and keys nicely highlighted in my above post, hidden in spoiler tags btw, which are not mentioned in the game's readme file, for anyone who might be interested ...

You also should mention the BEAUTIFUL Day / Night cycle and Rain / Thunderstorm cycle

Unfortunetly there is no swimming - everything just fades out and you start over (in the current age)...

Ohh, you have to click on the 'Show Spoiler' link and not on Keys and Commands ... and you should really read all the spoilers, where I've mentioned everything like toggling day and night and creating rain and snow and everything nice, but without spoiling too much hehe ... just read my post, I just put everything in spoilers to not make it too long and for all who want to explore and find out everything by themselves ...

And of course you cannot swim lol, because that's another special which I've also mentioned above, which is the transport/teleport system ... It isn't intended for us to just swim over the pond as it seems ... I find it wonderful btw, when you're softly with a beautiful fade carried back ashore when trying to swim or when falling from somewhere etc. ...

Besides that, I'm glad that you like or even love it, Wam ... have lots of fun exploring ...

The main movement keys:
- Cursors up, down, right and left plus additional w,a,s,d, where 'a' and 'd' are strafe right and strafe left
- you jump as always with 'Space' and you can jump with 'Ctrl' as well
- the 'Shift' key doesn't accelerate your speed in this pre alpha demo version
- 'Esc' offers the menue for 'Resume' and 'Quit'

further on

- with the F8 and F7 key you're getting the 'WireFrame Rendering', means you're landing in
the Matrix lol, and you get out of that state with pushing three or four times F8 where you're
moving through different states of renderings (works also with F7 btw)
- F11 toggles between 'Fullscreen' and 'windowed mode'
- press Alt+Tab to get to your desktop or switch apps as usual
- with F9 you can take high-res-screenshots and find them as bmp
under --> C or else:\UDK\Xing Sandbox Demo\UDKGame\Screenshots\Win32

With 'Tab' you can activate many 'Exec functions in UnrealScript' appearing at the
bottom of the screen ...

Available commands: 'Fly', 'Walk', 'FOV', 'Exit', 'Ghost' etc... just try it out ...

When using 'Fly' you can get back to the ground using the 'Walk' command, this is esp. necessary
when you'd like to activate something (hand cursor) which doesn't work when in fly mode ...
When using 'Ghost', where you can move through walls and everything lol, you can go back to normal
mode with the same 'Walk' command ...

With the left mouse button grab stuff like shells or coconuts etc., keep and carry it with the right mouse and drop it again with the left mouse button ...

And the developers, aren't those guys and the gal of course lol, wonderful ... and they're such a small team accomplishing this all, which proves again and again that not 'many' are needed ... Yeah, to look through those videos you get more acquainted with all that is available and possible in the game ... very nice and inspiring ... Thanks again ...

On the Xing Demo I finally got all six pyramids but cannot find the correct solution to their arrangment.

I love this game - can't wait to see the complete October release...

How wonderful ... yes, I'm looking forward to the final release too ... I haven't had the time to play through the whole demo yet though, but I found this 50 min. YouTube video, and it seems this man played it through ... Maybe we're lucky and have a little help to look into if needed ...

did you see, they achieved their first stretch target on Kickstarter.....so we'll get a rainforest environment
