For all not roaming the MOUL and/or Cyan forums very often ... Greydragon just posted as the topic header already reveals an absolute awesome Dropbox gallery of 'Myst Online Unreleased Concept Art' for us all to indulge in and/or to download, and I thought this just has to be posted here to the GoW too ... Enjoy, everyone ... :P

Thank you Janaba!

I downloaded a nice little free app called GIMP to be able to read the TGA files. Most of you must already know that app; it has a cute dog's head with a paintbrush in his jaw as logo ;).

The pictures are really nice! The animals are quite funny looking

I use IrfanView for a quick view of all kinds of file extensions (it even supports many sound and video files, though I use VLC for that) and for a quick editing of all kinds ... This archive contains only two .tga files btw ... :P

Cool, thanks Janaba ! :)

I'm amazed at how much concept arts Cyan have. They have enough to double the content in Uru.

Let's see... New pictures of Kahlo, cool ! When I think they already have half of the Age modeled, and we're probably never going to see it...

And a few other Ages...
Dahtamnay looks a bit like a snowy Er'cana...
The cleft was supposed to look a lot more like Tomahna from Revelation. Heh, look at the map in Descent/Desert Canyon - it was reused for Gira !
Negilahn was supposed to have a lot more animals... yeah, now that I think about it, pod Ages still have very little fauna.
And more pictures of Rebek, the hunting Age mentioned in Sharper's journal.

As for viewing image files, I use XnView. It opens a lot of files, is free, and can do basic image manipulation (while being less complex than Gimp).

Wow, beautiful,
that inspires me a lot.
Some nice vehicles in Datamnay , i certainly want to model.
Pirahnay has an interesting landscape , the mountains give a natural occluding which makes it not to hard for the plasma engine.
And Kalamee is gorgeous, but you need excellent lightning skills to cache it.

enough for years of spare time :D

You’re missing a fifth choice... let’s say Paint.NET :)
