Submitting Ages to ULM?

I still can't download it... it says "connecting to mirror" .... but doesn't ...

The ULM client shows...

I get the "connecting to mirror" message as well, for 6 minutes. Then it finally says, "Some files were not downloaded correctly". What is odd is that the log claims that the files were downloaded successfully:

EDIT: I removed all my Aerie files, installed ULMRC5.5 and tried again - same result. I then FTP'ed to the site (using a DOS command shell) and was able to download the various GZ files, which do exist. It seems that ULM is misinterpreting the "Entering Passive Mode" message as an error message when it attempts to download the GZ files and thinks that they are not there.

Ah, stupid .net FTPWebRequest making exceptions of perfectly normal things like entering passive mode *sigh*.

Is this still a problem?

A couple of people over at the Pre-GoMa tried to download my first little Age with the ULM and got an error about a Mirror.

Everything uploaded fine.

Sorry for the double post, but wanted to bump this.

The files for Kierra's age are still in Gzip format on the server. And ULM says that there are no files there.

Don't the files have to be extracted first??? Or is the ULM able to see the files in Gzip format and does an automatic extraction?

If ULM does not, then I can understand why it's thinking there are no files for the Age, on any server if they are all still compressed in Gzip still.

it does automatic determinig if gzip files are available, and dowloads them if possible.

perhaps the problem with the current location for kierras files is that the ftp address chacal provided can't be determined.

On closer inspection it quite probably has something to do with the username containing an @ sign, and that it messes up ulms username/password regognizer...

Kierra gave me permission last night to take a copy of her files and place them on the server I'm using. I'm going to link the mirror on the Maintainer's ULM database to them, so hopefully it will work okay (I've unzipped the files too. Her Mainroom file is over 34 MB big!).
But I need to get the Maintainers to look at her Age. It's one of the most beautiful that I've seen yet.

I can say with 97% certainty that the problem is not with the gzipping of the files.
It has never been a problem, and certainly is not a unique situation for this age.

What is a unique situation for this age is the ftp server address, which has an up-until now untested username-password component.

Or, can we use http instead of ftp? If so, please use http://bf1.ecgn.net/chacal/myst/ULM/Aerie/version1/
If not, I'll use a different server.
