Well then either Kierra or you can change the current ftp to the above url and it should work.
No more pesky @!

But Trylon: the reason that Chacal mirrored the files in an uncompressed form was because ULM was throwing an exception (when FTP entered passive mode after quering the existence of the GZ files) - right?

So, did you make a change to ULM to catch the exception and continue?
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.

No, I didn't uncompress them.

Well, it's basically quite simple - ulm tries to download the gz version, if it catches a 404 file not found, then it continues to try the uncompressed version.
In this case, an exception was thrown on the attempt to download the gz version, indeed, but the log showed that it had nothing to do with a 404, but rather that there was some URL decoding problem. - It read part of the url incorrectly as a port. Since the colon is used to indicate a port, it probably splits on the first @-sign, to determine username and password (password specification is not neccesary).
Should I continue, or would that be stating the obvious? ( <- Honest question, no sarcasm there!!!)
One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.

Maybe it would be a good idea to fix the problem.
With more people starting to make Ages, there could be several cases of them using ftp servers witn no anonymous access. I'm thinking of those who rent a server and have to use an admin panel.

Or, if everyone has a http server, maybe there is no need.

Kierra, it's actually quite simple, we think your fubulator has lost sync with the DTD for the XML hashing algorithm on the 2nd-tier router, possibly on layer 4. The ISO layer, of course.

Shouldn't cost you much more than around $700 and be ready in, like, 3 days.
