ULM Hanging Issues

Postby kaelisebonrai » Fri Jun 20, 2008 7:41 am

Hi there...

When I start ULM it hangs, the last thing in the logs, appears to be about reloading from the server, but, nothing happens...

It just hangs, until it decides to crash...

Its from a fresh install of uru, just drizzle installed, as I always have done.. and no changes other than that...

There are no files in the ULM folder in the Uru:CC folder... and there is no UruLibraryManager.ini file (not sure on exact title, here, but, either way, it is not there :<) in the U:CC folder at all.

I have installed it a few times, I've wiped all traces of ulm from the registry, and nope, still no fix. =/

Anyone have any ideas?

Is this on Vista? Are you using an account with admin rights?

I'm afraid not, its XP Professional.

And, yes, permissions are not an issue. =)

That is strange that there are no ULM files at all in your Uru:CC folder.

Have you tried using a fresh CC installation without Drizzle?

And did the ULM installer report any error messages during installation?
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.
