ERC Age Blender File - Who's got it now?

This thread is to keep track of who currently is modifying the ERCAge.blend file, which is kept in the box.net account in the "Latest ERC Blend File" folder. Note: due to its large file size and the box.net 25 MB per-file limit, the Blender file is now stored as a RAR file. To obtain Win-RAR, click here.

If no one is currently working on the file, post below that you want to change it. Then post again once you've uploaded it to the box.net account.

If we don't hear from you for 4 weeks since your post, we'll attempt to contact you via PM. If we still don't hear from you 2 weeks after that, we'll assume real life got in the way and the file will be made available.

As of 29 November 2009, the ERCAge.blend file is available.

ametist notified me by PM that the Blender file is now available. The latest version is in a folder labeled "27.9.09".

Ok, I suppose I've got it now, then.

Jojon - 2009-09-28

I'll be inserting a more-or-less merged (The original is built using many small objects) copy of Dakro's "Stair to the moon" bridge.

Ok, I've have taken my greedy paws off the .blend file now. ( 2009-10-18 )

Report:

Dakro's "Stair to the moon" bridge is in, allowing dry passage to the little island in the lake. Quite a lot of detail has been sacrificed to get the polygon count down. Maybe it may be worth restoring some of that, if we get cluster groups working reliably in the future.

A number of texture- and material duplicates have been flushed.

Since the age has a moving sun, all materials (except light-emitting ones) have been made shaded and given the same amount of ambient light. Most ERCAge outdoors materials should (currently) have "nomist" and "shadeless" UN-ticked and 0.25 ambient light.
Those of you who have contributed objects may want to check them in the age now, because after the aforementioned change, the materials may need further tweaking, to restore their original look: noteably the default specularity settings produce some really glossy stuff.

I've put in a simple bench near the link-in spot, thinking it may fit the age, either in its current state, or modified.

Time for the raven to strike its prey!

...coming to think of it, I believe ravens are scavengers... eeewwwww. ;)

It takes all kinds to make a wonderful age. :D

The Blender file is yours if you want it, Corvus. I also made the age files available for public download here.

Well, no, not in any way and I have to admit I don't kill my own food either - actually I'm fairly sure some butcher somewhere has had it hang to rot a bit for a few days, to make it easy on my tender omnivore stomach.. :P
Meat is picked from the meat-tree, complete with a styrofoam calyx and clingfilm skin - ready for the store counters, isnt it?

Robert:
Hmm, I'm pretty sure I had nothing to do with the insertion of Ametist's signs (i.e: weren't they were in v2 already?), but they and the many plants, from various ages by different writers, that she must have spent quite some time importing, sure deserved a good strong spotlight. :)

EDIT: Forgot: eager to see your additions, Corvus. :)

Version 2 did contain the plants that ametist painstakingly placed in the scene. Version 3 is a combination of her recent change (the signs) plus your change (the bridge, material fixes and bench). I didn't release a 2.5 with just the signs.

Hopefully, the 'release notes' for V3 weren't misleading. Sorry if they were.
