Project on Hold

Postby Tyion » Sat Oct 11, 2008 4:53 pm

Ok I am puting this project on hold. My Harddrive crashed and all the work I did in the blender version of the Age is gone. I know (Ouch!) anyways when I feel I am ready I'll post a back on track post.

Best Regards

Ouch! Sorry to hear that Tyion :(
You mention you Blender work is gone, that means you stil have your Maya files? At least you haven't lost everything..
I hope beside all this you didn't lose too much important stuff..

That is interesting.
The other day Blender just, suddenly, deleted about 80% of a project I was working on.
As I was rebuilding the project some of the missing objects started to reappear.
Since then I have been doing frequent backups of the project files to another computer on my network.

If at all possible, look into using a linux boot disk with "ddrescue" or a similar program, to see if you can recover a copy of that hard drive!
