Using a gameplay footage program, I have successfully made a good linking movie. The only problem is that it is .AVI and not .BIK. Does anyone know how I can change it?

Use RAD Video Tools. Just download the program, fire it up, select your AVI and click the Bink button.

It can also convert from Bink to AVI

handily it can also do jpg > bik and a lot of other file types as well, for non-moving panels. B)

That worked. Thank you!

My linking panel is a giant invisible slide that I built which crashes into the linking pedestal. I recorded the Avatar(in 1st person) sliding down using Fraps and from there I turned it into .bik. Voila! 800x600 Myst IV style link-in.
