I have two files for Galamay right now, Galamay.blend and Galamay2.blend. galamay.blend is my primary one, while 2 is a variation/backup of the primary. i changed something in 2 which i liked, so i tried to append it to the primary file. The problem is, now i want to change the flags on it and blender keeps saying
ERROR
Can't edit library data

and when I try to save it says
ERROR
Cannot overwrite used library

does anyone know how to fix this, because I would really like to save my work... :(

edit: jeez, i cant even move them....

Did you try the "import .blend" option in the import menu?

What are you appending? Mesh?

Object would be what you need to append. Mesh might screw things up.

o then object. i figured out a work-around, i think. i just changed the flag in 2.blend and re-appended it to the first. yeah its very inefficient, but it works :P
