Progress on the First Age tutorial

Postby Trylon » Mon Jan 28, 2008 2:40 pm

As some of you my have noticed, the First Age tutorial hasn't been updated for a short while.
This was mostly because I was lacking good bush and plant textures, and couldn't find any on the web.

But this afternoon I took an improvised white canvas and a digital camera into the outdoors, and was able to compose and shoot quite a few nice textures and decals, including an excellent heather bush texture.
So, expect a few updates in the near future.

This looks fantastic, Trylon! If this is just the First Age, I wonder what the Second Age would look like? :D
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.

I'd just like to say here that no matter how much I whinge about the First Age tutorial in the other thread, I'd be nowhere without it. Thank you to everyone who's worked on it for all the hard work you put in.
