This is maybe a stupid question, but when I succeed in importing an age why does it not show up in Blender? Do I have to do some aditional things after import?

Go up to the top of your screen in Blender. You'll see a drop down menu that says SCE:Scene in it. Click on the arrows and change it to the Age you just imported.

Then zoom out. A lot of times you'll be zoomed in somewhere and don't see the Age.

Don't worry. The learning never stops actually. Things change. Tools change. Methods change, so everyone ends up having to learn new stuff, or learn how to do things over again, no mater how long you've been at this.
