Well thanks for the comments you guys - I really appreciate it :D
There's more where that came from to be sure! Justin, I've been working on sketches of the Yinfara trees - I hope you don't mind, but I added in a couple new plants that could fit it quite nicely, such as a climbing vine-like plant and a colorful fruiting "pod" for the swamp (which can be pollinated by insects). They're in black and white at the moment, but I'll get them onto my laptop and airbrush some color into them for you.

What about the idea of the sea being non-salty(lake)? And what about there being a spring in a cave in the barren mountain?

hmm... I'm not so sure about the cave... for now let's just stick with what we have. But about salty vs. fresh, I'm sure that'd be fine... what's the difference anyway?

If we have the waterfall coming from the sea... it can either be like the ocean (salty) or like most waterfalls you see(fresh). Why I'm suggesting fresh is because that's how most waterfalls are and I think it'd be strange otherwise.

I've been doing some landscape-sculpting over the last couple days (based on Naigahsehn concept) and here's what I have so far.

http://lontahv.googlepages.com/Yin_LandScape.zip

WARNING! this download contains un-textured and visible verts--do not download if you want to go to an age that look remotely like a world. ;)

Note to Justin:

If you see something strange about the construction of the landscape--it's most likely going to be fixed next release--if there is, however blaring conceptual error, then there is need for alarm.

Tell me what you think about the size. Remember, it'll seem bigger once the trees are in.

Hmm... I think it IS too small... do you remember JFT's original model of the island? I tried to find it, but I'm not sure where it is... but anyway, if you remember that, I was thinking more of that size... Also, the waterfall is too big... or too deep at the most... I was sorta thinking along the lines of the relto pond, maybe a bit bigger than that...

I just looked. My island model to JFT's model is 14 to 9. My island model is bigger--much bigger.
