Re: ulm.hbyte.com
Err.. are you using .net or .com? It should be .net at the end. What are you trying to download?
Re: ulm.hbyte.net
Sorry, slip of the pen (keyboard)
, I'm using .net.
I try to download a part of the tutorial: Your first (real) Age.

mhh,
dunno what's wrong with it - maybe my uplink has been a bit slow this weekend.

One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.
Re: ulm.hbyte.com
Well, it is still slow, even slower, just tried it.
Can't you upload it to a free file hosting server like MediaFire?

Re: ulm.hbyte.com
Frits,
Try using this URL for the ULM:
http://www.guildofmaintainers.org/Ages/Library.php
We have mostly the same thing that is on the ulm.hbyte.net address, with the exception of only a few things. I do know that our database loads faster than the hbyte one for some reason.
EDIT: Frits is not kidding. I took my ULM over 5 minutes before it was done updating the library, where as the maintainers ulm database takes less than 10 seconds.

Thanks, but I try to download a part of the tutorial: Your first (real) Age.
Btw when I click on your URL, the browser places a 5 behind the .php and I get a black screen (only the header and footer of IE is showing) and in the footer 'done'.

Re: ulm.hbyte.com
You need to use that URL in ULM. It will not work in a browser.
I don't think the tutorial age can be downloaded through ULM though.

Yes, you can. It is in the second lesson 'Adding a Bit of Surface':
If you don't have the time or ability to model this yourself, you can download the Blender file for this object here

Re: ulm.hbyte.com
That's not "dowlnoading through ULM", that's "downloading a blend file (not an age) through your web browser". ULM is a client application that attaches itself to your Uru install and downloads ages. (not blender files) This has little to do with modeling or anything else.
