Stay with me if it seems I'm rambling a bit, I'm tired, lol
Even though MORE is on hold, it occurs to me that if we, the GoW's, are to keep players interested in returning to MORE while they wait for our new Ages, they'll need something to keep them entertained during the lulls.
Until Uru was basically a waiting game--an extended waiting period for any hope for Cyan's return. We created games to amuse ourselves--Sardines, for example--and many other ways to keep ourselves entertained. In the end Cyan did return, but even then MOUL had lulls while we waited for Ages to be released.
And as all of us know, Age creating isn't a quick and easy process.
So I had a thought (it only hurt for a moment).
What if we came up with some sports like ages that could be played to keep people entertained?
Cyan tried to do this with Jalak, but it seemed to loose it's appeal with players after playing around with it a few times. There is also Ayoheek. Heek is very entertaining, don't get me wrong, but not everyone was into it.
I think we need more active sports. Minkata came close with the soccerball, but I think it would be neat if we took it a step further.
My first idea for a sports age would be something like a combination of Ice hockey and soccer.
An Age where the ground is ice and therefore extremely slippery, so that right there will provide amusement and challenge (who wouldn't find it hilarious to watch your opponent's avatar slip on ice and go careening past you?...and vice versa) . There should also be two goals, and one soccerball/puck. The objective is just like in soccer or hockey--get the ball in the other team's goal. If we want to get really silly, the ball could be in the shape of a small cone or something

It would be necessary for the Age to be public of course, and ideal if the Age could be easily accessible in the Nexus.
I think this would be a good way for players to keep themselves amused in MORE.
This is just a 3am thought, but I think active sports Ages should be considered to be made into team projects for the GoW's.
Thoughts? Other sports age game suggestions?
