Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

Thanks so much Andy and Nad, looking great

One quickie question to go with flybys In game can you track the camera to an object while its animating in game, I have this fun memory of I think Exile where the camera swings left and right but the physical tracks to a set path?

An example is the coaster in Amateria

I think you can do that Grogyan, others would know how to do it better than I, as I've not really messed around with cameras too much with Age building.

Chacal ... make sure you are in 3rd person BEFORE you link into the book in your Relto ... if you're playing in 1st person, the flyby does not show

EDIT: if you toggle 1st/3rd person ... you will see it (even if you were in 1st person when you linked in) ...
when it comes to Age creation ... "DOH" seems to be my middle name...

Great work Andy and Nadnerb! :) That gives a nice idea of the possibilities..

Couldn't it be possibke to add in-game fly-bys in Cyan Ages simply by adding a new page to the Age and a new Prp? All needed objects (camera/regions/animations etc) would go there and we'd just have to add the Prp, replace the .Age file, and update the sum file.

Well all I did was get the flyby movie working for say like a Cyan Age.

My ultimate goal is to do something like this for a larger fan user Age, say like Zephyr Cove, but once I have they flyby, I'm pull the camera and region out. What I want to do is set up something like, you link in where there's a Zephyr Cove linking book. It has a animated panel, even when it pops up. Just the rotating kind, or even a still camera, but you see the waveset moving back and forth, back and forth, even that would be cool! The link looks alive! Not static and dead.

Then you click on the linking book, and the Age loads, BUT before you link in, you get the flyby movie first, it screams in, and BAM, you link.

I know, I know: "But that's Myst! This is suppose to be Uru!" again, my answer is "Waaaaaaa!" while playing the worlds smallest violin. My Age, I make it the way I want to. Pppppppht!

But mainly, just to see if I can do it. Just to see it done! Why do people climb mountains? It's the same reason....

Andy did you import Teledahn into Blender to get the fly-by effect? And then use fraps?
