Drizzle13 has been released; you can get it at http://sf.net/projects/drizzle/

On the Conversion side: Normals were fixed up for MOUL Ages, which fixes a large number of visual problems including: avatar shadows work (e.g. Minkata), footprints work (e.g. Minkata), dark shadows and areas are fixed(e.g. LiveBahroCaves), water ripples work(e.g. Tsogal), some surfaces are fixed(e.g. Negilahn). Thanks to Nadnerb for figuring out that the problem was Normals!

On the UruAgeManager (UAM) side: The minor bugs mentioned before have been fixed. Colours are easier to distinguish, have icons, and there's a legend now. There's an option to automatically load the last list, or automatically download the latest list on startup. There is now a field for information about each Age (though I still have to fill them in on the list).

Both versions get the latest versions of Ages, thanks to the work of Old Wolle! Apparently, no-one has had any major problems (like file corruption), so it seems quite rock-solid.

Yes, the details are on the technical documentation page of Ki-offline: http://diafero.bplaced.net/technical.html

You can also get to those places the proper way: By walking through the symbol in the Pods, solving Minkata, and for the Er'cana/Ahnonay wedges, using the fissure symbol in Er'cana.

Add this to availablelinks.inf:

Code: Select all

restorationlink:LiveBahroCaves,MOUL Bahro Cave from pods
spawnpoint:LiveBahroCaves,LinkInPointDereno,Default

If you want it in your relto you can add this to ULMServerLinkBook.inf:

Code: Select all

link:LiveBahroCaves,MOUL Bahro cave from pods,LinkInPointDereno,Get your Relto rings here.,

I tried adding that code and it would not take the specific spawn point for the restoration links. It takes me to the Delin/Tsogal Cave

Also I tried linking using the fissure in Er'cana and it takes me to the old Bahro Cave from TPOTS

Are the Er'cana Plants and Storm Relto pages available?

Yeah, LiveBahroCaves determines which cave to show based on where you're linking from, so you have to go the normal route.

As for the Er'cana link, I suppose that's a bit of a bug, so you won't be able to get those wedges for now.

The Er'cana plants and Storm page aren't available for Relto yet, but the Fall trees, sparklie island, and birds are.

I didn't include the Er'Cana patch in the Offline KI which allows you to get to that cave by clicking on the fissure... Should I?
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

By default there are no stained glass windows in Bevin, just those bars, but I found out that you can choose the windows you want for Delin, Tsogal and the Great Zero in the sdl file. Perhaps it's a good idea to mention this in the technical information for the Offline KI for people who want to turn on the windows? Or perhaps it could be integrated in Drizzle, so that people do not have to install a different tool just to have the stained glass windows back. Just an idea. ;)

I remember that the floor in K'veer looked quite odd in one of the first versions Drizzle, because the reflections were permanently visible for the whole floor at once. You fixed that, but now reflections are only visible in the upper part of K'veer near those windows, and the reflections don't show up at other places. Is that a bug, or part of a solution?

Thanks for all the work on Drizzle and the Offline KI. :)

EDIT: Unfortunately I can't link to the GZ or to Tsogal from Bevin... :( The Book to Delin and the Bahro stone do work.

Yeah, commands to set the stained glass, and also the snow in Delin would be great! What do you think Diafero?

I also thought that there was some messed up reflections in Kveer, but it turned out that what was actually happening was that it was partially invisible and I was seeing right through it! Anyway, I disabled all those layers, because Pots doesn't support their type, and that fixed a lot of visual problems in various Ages.

As for the problem with Tsogal and the GZ: Those both work fine for me, so I think it's the problem some people have where they sometimes crash when linking out of Bevin. Did it crash, or did it pop up a message saying you couldn't link?

Sounds like a nice idea... I don't yet know when I will find the time to implement it though.
