Breldur, my new age

If you feel like you're up to the challenge of building your own Ages in Blender or 3ds Max, this is the place for you!

("reveal" and "betray" do both translate into the german word "verraten", which has this two meanings, depending on the context:
Jemanden verraten / betrügen - to betray someone
Etwas verraten - to reveal something, to give away a secret)

Thanks! It's been a long time since I heard betray as revealed. Makes sense now. So I take it that Jonee was complimenting us on showing how a good use of objects is important in an Age?

Man....I really hope this Age comes out quickly. . .But not too quickly that it ruins all the amazing scenery.

I hope it has a couple puzzles thrown in too. ;)

Oh, I'm very sorry to have confused you.
I was using an online dictionary to translate my minds into english. I wanted to translate the german word "erkennen".
"To recognize an important rule" seems to be the better translation. 8-)

For future reference; minds should really be thoughts. If you were to truly translate your mind into English; you could start speaking with a strange accent and be more concerned with tea instead of, say, URU. ...or if you actually have multiple minds; there's treatment for that. :D

Today's report of the progress:

First cave (of 20) quite finished!! :) That's the work of the last week.
I have to say that I'm cheeky brilliant!! :D Because I was able to create a realistic looking animated fire... I think that it is the first time that you can see this in URU.

By the way I found out that if you work with alot of lights, it's not able to affect objects by more than 8 lights. If you have created a 9th light in a room the shine of the 9th light wont get displayed anymore...
Anyway... Looks great with only 8 lights. :D

Indeed it does  :o
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Amazing!

Did you say that was cave 1 of 20?

If this place gets anymore amazing, I'll need two computers to handle this age. :o

It looks amazing though. Keep up the good work.

Wow, this age is wonderful.

I love the fantastical side you add to all your ages. In my mind, it's that that sets this age apart from the other ages for Uru out there (even the Cyan ones) and puts it in a class with Myst and Riven. In the video it looks really unbelievable (literally) but the graphics and feel of the place is good enough to take you and makes you say to yourself "Who cares about mimicking the comparatively dull reality I live, this is much more mentally stimulating and fun!".

On a side note, judging by the size of this age you must know really well how to 3d model low-poly. :D
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).
