question about how to setup a shard

Hello everybody, if i post at the wrong place, just move this topic.

I would like to know what are the guidelines to set up a shard ? How much it cost per day, and how many time per day

I'm workin in IT but i'd always like to learn how to set up a server (linux prefered) ... so, if its not too tricky, maybe its time to learn ...

So if you could help me to undersatand the global situation of setting up an uru server it would be great.

But maybe i have to begin by something eazyer to learn server maintenance. Do you have any idea ? (im not in a hurry, and i prefer to try to do it slowly and well than do it bad)

There's a forum at http://forum.almlys.org/index.php as well.

Those two places would be better places to ask, than here, I would think.

There seems to be a registration bug on the Alcugs site.

While I am an Alcugs server developer and moderator at the Alcugs forums, I don't have admin access there and so I can not enable registration again. Almlys obviously for some reason (spammers?) decided to disable it and didn't tell us or just forgot about it. I hope he reads that thread ASAP
