The Bahro in Pots and MystV are just animations. There was a Bahro avatar in Moul though, yes. We had trouble making them work in Pots though, and it may be that the engine doesn't support more than 2 avatar types in Pots. Agenotfound has another idea he wants to try though, but he's waiting for me to take a look to see if some of the converted files are converted incorrectly.

I was visiting Raleeshan in Uru via Drizzle, and fell off the stairs looking back towards the stairs. Guess what you see on the way down to your panic link? A bahro just sitting their, suspended, looking at the lovely landscapes. He must have misplaced Esher.

The way he treated the Bahro I would not be surprised if the Bahro were picking Esher out of their teeth.

With the current Offline Ki I make these changes to the .sdl and .age. I turn on the menorah but I leave the candles unlit. I turn off the Teledahn pedestal in the courtyard (since it has the MOUL Kirel linking book.) I turn off the Releeshan book (but I leave the Todelmer book on.) I turn off the Er'cana City Silo in the Library (but I leave all other banners and books on.) And I turn on the Teledahn pedestal in front of the Library.

All of this can be done by using /setsdl and editing the city age file - which would mean that you no longer had to reset your avatar after each upgrade, as that is caused by incompatible STATEDESC blocks. The age file can easily be patched again and again, there's nothing there which will break an avatar.

Which however will mean that in order to even reach the GZ, people will have to play through Teledahn... something which I never liked.

That's what /link Neighborhood02 and flymode are for.

In MOUL you could go to the Neighborhood and City before you went to the Cleft and you didn't get the Gahreesen book in your Relto until you finished the Cleft. (But we all know that this doesn't make any sense either! )

Yeah, in MOUL things got really weird . However, the Gahreesen book in the hood is older than MOUL, AFAIK it was already present in To D'ni.
It would be ok for me (though I can't implement that myself) to be able to choose between GZ and no book, or GZ and another book - but I wouldn't like to loose this convenient way of getting to the GZ (and after all, it was Cyan who introduced this book, so we are not to blame ).

Indeed, there's a Bahro there, patiently waiting for his animation to trigger . You can find some other animated objects waiting in various places, for example the horses and a bird in The Great Marsh from Crowthistle.

Your Relto Shelf definition is more than three weeks old. I suggest updating it by typing /updateshelf

So I did and got

a urlopen error and (/.getoddrinfo failed)

Go figure?? Every thing else works wonderfully

(Edit to add) I just noticed the Url in the urlopen error am assuming I needed to have my internet connection on for this to work?

Yes, that command accesses a server to download the latest Relto Shelf definitions, so you need an internet connection. The Relto Shelf is continuously updated to always contain the ages that were most recently released or changed. You can disable the reminder by typing "/updateshelf silence".

that was meant to be online-only because quabs don't work properly online, Obviously, I forget to disable that patch for the offline release... *adds to ToDo list*
