Eder Bahrehltahn - Warning! Large Pictures and Spoilers!

Postby ZURI » Thu Mar 18, 2010 8:47 pm

For the last few months, Stranger and I have been working on a rather large Age Concept. Indeed it is no longer a mere concept; but is becoming a reality. Eventually, I will build a website dedicated to the Age - but in the meatime, I will post teasers here.

These are a few of many pictures showing completed sections of the Age. It is composed of at least 2 separate ages. At the moment, I am working on modelling the Tunnel Age that will link explorers to Eder Bahrehltahn.

Thank you to all of our supporters and "behind-the-scenes" helpers. You know who you are! I truely appreciate all the feedback you have freely given us. I promise you all will be included in the credits!

I will try to keep this thread updated with new pictures as the Age progresses.

Enjoy!

Nice!
I have been wondering for some time about your avatar pictures.

That looks nice, especially this "floating" path. Keep up the good work!
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Looks great, Zuri and Stranger. The walkway reminds me of the tile around the waterline of our pool
I'll be watching as this progresses.

Thank you Diafero and Chuckles! The pathway is anchored to the ceiling by cables, but it's a bit hard to see in the photos. The amount of detail lost when converting the Fraps shots to jpegs is significant. I still have add some detail to this section of the age, but it's "mostly" complete.

You can "kinda" see the cables in this next shot.

The cables seem very bright in those pictures. I would expect cables to become quickly dark as they reach up to the ceiling.

;) There is still some tweaking to be done. Yes, they will be much made much darker.

I'll be posting snippets here of the story line surrounding the Age of Eder Bahrehltahn.....the story is complex and intriguing - I'll try to post some of the more salient excerpts. Enjoy:!:

"I have written down here the events that have lead me to freedom - the end of my life here in D'ni and the rebirth of it in a new cycle. The remains of what i once was are gone, and i have become something more. I have found the Path that leads to the Maker...."

"I fear I cannot write much here of what has transgressed- but if I do not write it here then where? I have to record this somewhere; our ancient and sacred society must be preserved as it always has been....."

"So I will write here, and remove the muted silence that has held our order in sway for many centuries. I know that it could chance that someone will find this journal. If someone does; remember us....."
