Well, depending on what you wanted to do, you didn't need a license to begin with. If you want to use Cyan assets or trademarks, that is another story. In that case, it says you can't sell it. I don't know how to interpret the use of the word private here, so I can't give advice on that. It might mean you can't share it, but more likely, it is just the vagueness which "(non-commercial)" attempts to clarify. I recommend you ask them what they meant and have them re-issue a license with better wording.
And yes, they want you to email them back to confirm, once you get a license that is acceptable to you.
