Thanks alot.

As you can remember: AlcScript is kind of Chinese for me.

Someone please may correct my code of an clickable object that just plays a sound?
After exporting the age the object (a radio) is clickable, but I can't here the sound. The emitter is included too. So the code must be wrong.

Code: Select all
SFX_Radio2:
     type: soundemit
     sound:
          flags:
            - autostart
            - is3dsound
          file: Breldur_Radio2
          volume: 1
          type: Ambience
          maxfdist: 25
          minfdist: 5

Radio2:
    logic:
        modifiers:
          - cursor: poised
            flags:
              - localelement
            activators:
              - type: objectinvolume
                remote: rgnRadio2
                triggers:
                  - any
            conditions:
              - type: activator
                activators:
                  - type: picking
              - type: objectinbox
                satisfied: true
            actions:
              - type: soundmsg
                params:
                    receivers:
                      - 0011:SFX_Radio2
                    cmds:
                      - play
                      - setvolume
                    volume: 1
                waiton: -1

Thanks again, friends. :P

The sound message should be inside a responder.

Code: Select all
Radio2:
    logic:
        modifiers:
          - cursor: poised
            flags:
              - localelement
            activators:
              - type: objectinvolume
                remote: rgnRadio2
                triggers:
                  - any
            conditions:
              - type: activator
                activators:
                  - type: picking
              - type: objectinbox
                satisfied: true
            actions:
              - type: responder
                ref: :Radio2Resp
        actions:
          - type: responder
            name: Radio2Resp
            responder:
                states:
                  - cmds:
                      - type: soundmsg
                        params:
                            receivers:
                              - 0011:SFX_Radio2
                            cmds:
                              - play
                              - setvolume
                            volume: 1
                        waiton: -1
                    nextstate: 0
                    waittocmd: 0
                curstate: 0

Just a new screenshot for you.
I'm doing some changes to the garden of Breldur right now. I'm not finished yet, but I want to show you the work of the past day before I will go to bed now.

Enjoy and have a good night as well! 8-)

PS: Do we still have the permission of Cyan to use their sound samples? In a few days I will come to a point of my age creation were I really could use some of them.

Please, please release a playable version of this. I don't care if it's not finished; you're allowed to release an Age more than once. Publish updates as they're ready. If the screenshots are anything to go on, this is already better than most fan ages, hell, better than some Cyan ages. We need this.

I think I will respectfully disagree with the above poster. Don't release the Age until essentially all puzzles, backstory, and the environment are complete. There's nothing wrong with leaving room for future updates, but if you release the Age on a "This is unfinished but here's the rough draft" basis, my thinking is that you won't hit as much approval and popularity for the Age as you would if you waited until it was done. Keep dangling screenshots and videos in front of us to whet our appetite, but don't feed us until the feast is ready :). I think it's safe to say that this is one of the most widely anticipated (if not THE most widely anticipated) fan Age ever created.

I totally agree with Carl. But... I will be not against a new video. ;)

While I appreciate your point, Carl, there remains the uncomfortable fact that Writers sometimes drop off the face of the internet with projects half-done. As a compromise, may I suggest sending copies of drafts to a trusted friend, to be released if you're not heard from for some prearranged length of time?
