Time to Get it Started

Postby cskid13 » Thu Mar 08, 2012 11:18 am

We need some people to be coders and texture-appliers! You can see our progress here!

Schedule:
-Make another Bahro Cave with two sides for the two ages.
-Write a story to link these two ages to the other two spiral ages, and to link the two Bahro Caves.
-Apply textures to Eder Gahrahno
-Code Eder Gahrahno
-Write music and sound fx for Eder Gahrahno
-Finish modeling Eder Nahtoka
-Apply textures to Eder Nahtoka
-Code Eder Nahtoka
-Write music and sound fx for Eder Nahtoka

Afterwards (possibly):
-Make an edited Bevin which chooses randomly from the four spiral ages.
-Add another layer of Wedges to Relto
-Make Relto Pages for the two new ages (Crystal sculpture and Toka tree)

Important: There is a good chance that we won't be able to release these ages because of the fact that they are meant to be part of the Spiral Journey.

I am looking for any skilled age builders that would like to work on two new ages: Eder Gahrahno and Eder Nahtoka. These ages are of the spiral variety, so they are will have seven spiral cloths and a timed Bahro Door. Any volunteers to help make these ages?

Jobs:
Age Mapper: Cskid13
Textures: Rhee
Texture-applier: Open
Sound fx: Open
Music: Cskid13
Age Builder (3ds Max!): Karkadann
Coder: Open
Writer: Open

After these ages are finished, if their quality is good enough, maybe Cyan will replace all the Delin/Tsogal books with Gahrahno/Nahtoka books for a few weeks :D !

Once a team is formed, I will request a subforum to be created for this project.

So you did Walking Maze? It's one of my favorite fan ages! Should I add you as the age builder?

I can probably help with some textures if you need... I have plenty of access to plants and even animals, though the plants will have to wait for a month or two due to the extreme winter-ness of my region at this time...

Unless, of course, you are needing winter textures :D
We can wait until some of the modelling is started, so that appropriate textures can be chosen. And while i can supply the textures, I don't have 3DS max so i don't suppose that i can actually map them to the models (though i'm sure you c1an handle that Karkadann :) )

Alright, I know that I am three days late, but here are hand-drawn maps of Eder Natoka and Eder Gahrahno. Also, I gave these ages shortened names: Eder Toka and Eder Ga'rahn

Do you have any details on the Crystal sculpture, Toka tree's and the Water Basin, or Perhaps a Isometric view of the two age?
