Its looking better and better, I can wait to explore to see what other surprises you have hidden, although I am kinda wondering..has any one figured out a tutorial for Max users on how to do the Flames? I could never figure out how to do layered animations in Max

I was thinking of using torches in the Walking Maze the Soccer and croquet field and try to rig them up with the day and night cycles. I also wanted to add some kind of animation to the imager in the Selenitic Ship

karkadahn , if i could help you, i would do it, but i really don't know anything around max.
Max seems to me more complicated then blender, especialy the unwrapping after i have seen some tutorials from christopher's advise.

May be Blender is difficult in the beginning, but once you get it, it is the other way around.

All these pictures make me think it could be cool to have echoing footsteps in this cathedral (though I guess no one has an OS supporting EAX anymore... )

No eax is not supported and there still not is an open alternative for it.

But i can assure you that the cathedral has an excellent ambient sound that catches the atmosphere of a real cathedral.
Its made by Pojibonzai who is a professional in real live and he tuned it exactly to the used measurements.

This weekend i talked to Tachzusamn,
He advised me to lighten up the cathedral.

I have tried to do that, and changed the texture.
Also i found another way to do the lightning.
I had never done it like this before.

Here are some shots of how it is now.
I did not change the floor yet, so that still the old one, which is definitely to dark now..
What do you think is better ?
